Cars…only seen as a machine used to get around by some, but to many others a prized possession. Sir William Lyons says, “The car is the closest thing we will ever create to something that is alive”. These powerful machines feed off gasoline and electrical power like humans require food and water to stay alive. Cars to a driver is the equivalent of a child to a parent. Every intricate detail was carefully crafted by someone with a passion for vehicles and a sense of attachment. My interest in cars comes from the way the shininess of the chrome provides a clear reflection, or the way the emblem shines when the sun strikes it just right. The close-up photographs allow viewers to not only see the vehicle but to feel it as well. I believe all photographs can tell a story, and these photographs aim to tell a story of passion, thrill and connection.
