Divya Hariprashad is a photographer who is living and working in Queens Village, New York. She earned a BFA in Photography & Imaging from Queens College CUNY and will earn a BA in Business Administration in Marketing from Baruch College CUNY in 2027. Hariprashad loves shooting photographs in nature due to the natural lighting and love of the environment and has been in touch with her creative, imaginative side since childhood. Divya is an avid portrait photographer because she is able to capture emotions in her subjects which they can look back on and reminisce about. She found her love for photography early on and during high school she concentrated on digital media courses  which is where she  realized photography was more than just a hobby, that it was becoming a professional career choice. Hariprashad currently works as a freelance photographer specializing in events in the greater New York City area and is available for hire. Hariprashad has exhibited her work in the greater New York City area and could most recently be seen in  Reveal the Light at the Factory Gallery in Long Island City and Lux Populi at the Klapper Gallery in Flushing.
